Guide

Full Wrap or Supersides?

Both formats put your brand on London’s taxis, with tip seats inside. The difference is how much of each taxi carries your artwork, and how many taxis the campaign runs on.

The short answer.

Choose a full wrap when you want the most of each taxi: your artwork across the main exterior body, from a single vehicle upwards. Choose Supersides when you want the same message repeated across a fleet: large panels on both sides of at least ten taxis.

Coverage: how much of the taxi is yours.

A full wrap covers the main exterior body of the taxi, so the vehicle reads as your brand from every side. It gives the highest visual impact of any taxi format.

Supersides are large panels on both sides of the taxi, so your message is carried on each side wherever the taxi goes.

Fleet minimums and scale.

A full-wrap campaign can start with one taxi and scale to your brief. Supersides have a minimum of ten taxis: they are designed to run across several vehicles at once, so the same message appears again and again as the taxis move through London.

Larger fleets of either format are quoted per campaign. For the factors that decide fleet size, see how many taxis do you need?

How each is priced.

Full-wrap entry prices are for one taxi: from £3,750 on the Classic TX4 and from £4,750 on the Electric LEVC, for four weeks.

Supersides entry prices are for the whole minimum campaign: from £4,750 on the Classic TX4 and from £7,500 on the Electric LEVC, for all ten taxis over four weeks. Supersides prices are the total for the ten-taxi minimum, not a per-taxi rate.

Every published price includes media, production, printing, installation, tip-seat advertising, standard launch photography and a post-campaign report, and excludes VAT and removal. The full breakdown is on taxi advertising costs.

Tip seats and vehicles: the same for both.

Whichever format you choose, tip-seat advertising inside the cab is included at no additional media charge, and the campaign can run on the Classic TX4 or the Electric LEVC. Those choices sit alongside the format rather than deciding it. For the vehicle decision, read Classic TX4 or Electric LEVC?

When a full wrap may suit.

  • You want each taxi to read entirely as your brand.
  • The budget or the brief points to one taxi, or a small number.
  • The creative needs the whole vehicle: a livery rather than a panel.

When Supersides may suit.

  • The aim is repetition: the same message seen again and again across London.
  • A campaign of ten taxis or more fits the plan and budget.
  • The creative works as a strong panel on each side of the vehicle.
